A composition written for Dave Liebman with the West German Radio Big Band, this piece created quite a stir at the IAJE convention in Miami. with the Miami University Jazz Ensemble. The tempo and groove continually shift between a slow funk, medium Latin, and medium swing feel. The solo soprano part is in addition to the regular 5-part sax section, and employs the kind of modern chromatic harmony associated with Dave.
