Published by Twin Towers Music Publications. TW.J1008S. "Don't Get Caught" is my first attempt at a saxophone section feature. sax just happens to be my instrument. The tune is based on "rhythm" changes in the key of concert A-flat. The brass parts are pretty straight forward until the nasty brass soli after the solo section. The saxophone parts are somewhat difficult, especially the inner voices. as usual for a sax feature. The solo section is open with changes printed in the first alto, first tenor, first trumpet and first trombone. Piano, guitar and. or bass solos would also be appropriate for this tune. This song would be great for any jazz band with a burnin' saxophone section.
