The work uses quarter-tones, multiphonics and other special techniques. In the first movement, the quarter-tones are considered as vocal inflections of the clarinet pitches. The second movement feature multiphonics which sometimes begin as single notes and flowers out to several. It is a meditative, floating movement. The third movement is an athletic romp around the instrument. This is the manuscript edition. The duration is 8'45.
